Privacy Policy for twenty-four
This policy applies to the twenty-four Android application.
Overview
twenty-four is designed to keep your tracker information on your device. The app does not send your tracker data to the developer or to third parties.
What the app stores
You may enter tracker information such as:
- Start dates and times
- Tracker names and notes
- Display preferences
- Milestone and notification settings
The app also stores local settings needed for notifications and home-screen widgets. It uses your device’s clock, timezone, locale, and time-format settings to calculate and display progress.
Your entries may be sensitive. Notes and tracker details could reveal health-related or other private information depending on what you choose to enter.
How information is used
Your information is used only to:
- Display tracker progress
- Schedule local milestone notifications
- Display tracker information in home-screen widgets
Notifications and widgets
The app may request notification permission. Notifications and widgets can display tracker names, progress, or milestone information on surfaces controlled by Android or your device launcher. You can manage notification permission and widget placement through Android settings.
Storage, security, and deletion
Tracker information is stored in Android’s private app storage. The app does not transmit tracker data over the internet and does not use cloud backup for its stored data.
Information remains on your device until you delete the tracker, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Deleting a tracker removes it from the app and cancels its scheduled notifications. Android or device features may independently retain notification or widget content.
No method of storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not enter information you are not comfortable storing on your device.
